In summer 2025, the Office of Global Education, in collaboration with DKU Language and Culture Center, launched the Summer Intensive Chinese Language Program. The program welcomed Chinese language learners from Duke Kunshan University, Duke University, and Brigham Young University. The summer Chinese program is dedicated to providing students with high-quality classes and a genuine Chinese language environment.
The short video below captures some of the weekly Wednesday field trips. From the natural healing of an organic farm and ancient watertown to the future technology of gaming company, and then to the classical aesthetics of Suzhou Museum, students measured the past and future of Jiangnan with our feet and decoded the depth and breadth of culture with language. What an ultimate way to experience culture!
