Application Overview for Exchange Students at DKU Fall 2024 and Spring 2025
Exchange agreements, by definition, rely on a formal agreement between a sending institution and DKU to allow a reciprocal “exchange” of students in any given semester or year. Students from DKU pay tuition to DKU, and students from the sending institution pay tuition to their home college or university.
Exchange partnerships are carefully considered by both DKU and the exchange institution, and take time to establish. If an existing exchange agreement with your home institution and DKU is not currently in place, you may still apply to DKU as a visiting non-exchange student.
Once you have been nominated by your home institution, monitor your email carefully for an acceptance notification from DKU, and check below for commitment steps.

Follow your Home Institution Nomination Procedure
To attend DKU as an exchange student, contact your home institution to follow nomination application procedures and instructions. Your home institution will send nominees directly to DKU, who will contact you with next steps for confirming your attendance.
Meet the commitment requirement to study at DKU
All accepted Exchange students must meet the commitment requirements before the commitment deadline posted in your acceptance notification email.
Students may have different commitment deadlines depending on your application submission group.
